Fitness Concepts Off-Season Training Program 2014-2015
Make 2015 your best season ever! Fitness Concepts off-season training program offers high level coaching in an extremely cost-effective format. The program was developed and will be implemented by Ken Mierke, coach to 6 World Champions and 29 National Champions, author of the Triathletes Guide to Run Training, and developer of Evolution Running.
The 17-Week program begins November 17, 2014 and runs through March 22, 2015. Each athlete will receive a training schedule every 4 weeks. Before the program begins, we will send a short questionnaire to each participant. Based on that questionnaire, we will group athletes by sport and training level.
Participants will receive an article about an aspect of the training each week. The writings will include:

Numerous aspects of technique to optimize efficiency, speed, and power

Strength training for your sport

Nutrition for Endurance Athletes

Training by Heart Rate, Speed, and Power

Accelerating Workout Recovery

Flying up the Hills
Participants will be included in our Yahoo email group so that they can ask questions of the coach and share experiences with other athletes. Coach Ken Mierke will answer emails at least twice per week, on Mondays and Fridays.
